Dear Friends in Christ: Peace be with you.
In response to recent news and Doug Ford’s most recent announcement, it has been decided by the Council and Ministerial staff to cancel attendance at services and all activities until further notice.
We are assessing this day by day but are following the advice of Doug Ford and the Medical Officer of Health.
I will be doing a broadcast throughout the week and on Sunday the message will be posted on Facebook,
YouTube, as a Podcast, and we are discussing ways to get this out to folks that don’t have access to the internet.
I will share all of this with you as we post to these platforms.
It can be difficult to feel isolated, yet know you are not alone. We still remain connected in the Essence of God and prayer. At this time your participation in prayer is welcomed for our congregation, community, and throughout the world.
Let’s include our leaders, health care professionals, researchers, and those who are ill at this time.
Please greet one another with your hand over your heart, making eye contact to pass the peace and a blessing between you rather than a handshake. A 2-meter separation is advised. By placing your hand over your heart, you increase your sense of well-being and acknowledge the light, love, and God’s Essence that connects each one of us.
Let us remain mindful of those that do not have the shelter, clothing, and food. Resources, food and otherwise will become limited and stretched (without community meals) please remember to share as you are able,
in a safe and secure way.
We appreciate your love and support. If you would still like to continue to support the church, you may drop your envelope in the mail slot. Our ministry continues, although it may not be the same to what we are accustomed.
We are still available by phone, text or an email should you need someone to talk to or in need of pastoral care.
